College (Dis)Orientation is a new ground breaking educational musical improv comedy show experience about the first year of college written by playwright Jeremiah Clay Neal and produced by nationally recognized educational firm Collegiate EmPowerment. ?Using a combination of sketch comedy and original songs, Dis-Orientation addresses issues common to most college students such as Adjusting to Adulthood, Racism, Dorm Life, Social Growth, Roommate Issues, Drug & Alcohol Challenges, Sexual Orientation, Date/Acquaintance Rape, Social Media/Technology and Campus Involvement. The script was developed with college students and the performance is the perfect way to perk up an all-too-often dull Orientation program.?

The style of presentation is unique and includes a high-energy performance by a seasoned cast of 5 musicians & actors. The goal of this session is to introduce this new form of student edutainment to a national audience. The performance consists of 40-minute show selection followed by a 10-minute talk-back with conference attendees to discuss strategies for expanding the program to impact students on their respective campuses.
