"Emergenza"

You have alot going for your music. You're songs are mature, well written, I thought well performed. I thought you made a great first impression.

Bio

Disquiet were placed 'Third' in the New England regional final for the Emergenza International BOTB. Their singer also won 'Best Vocalist'.

Disquiet broke the 2008 record for the most votes at one show for Emergenza.

You may have a fairly good idea of who you are in solitude or in like-kind but combined with other elements, your properties may surprise you. As Disquiet approaches their one year anniversary, their chemistry continues to react. When New Zealand born drummer, Daniel Carney moved to Boston in late ’06 he did not expect to land on his feet in a band so early on. In and out of bands, both at home and in London, Carney knew being without a musical outlet was not an option. Within weeks he found himself in the company of Rhode Island guitarist Jon McGurn and songwriter Jonas Boinay of Western Massachusetts. McGurn, with a history as a classically trained pianist is now the designer of the newborn band’s ethereal guitar sound. Boinay was well on his way to finishing an album as a solo-artist but has since found himself yielding to the undeniable energy the trio continues to harness. Each member stemming from a distinctly different background of musical experience, this union was unplanned, unlikely, and serendipitous.
