Bio
Distaudio is musician Heath Friend from Brisbane, Australia. Distaudio is a solo project for which Heath wrote and recorded all songs on the album in his home studio. Heath draws inspiration for his music from the darker elements of industrial music, while injecting an element of groove which is sorely missing from this genre.
Growing up on a healthy diet of funk music, then discovering bands with a heavier edge, has shaped the foundations of Distaudio’s sound. Listening to Rage Against the Machine and Insurge at a young age led to an enhanced socio-political awareness, and this interest has inspired the lyrical content and maddening aural landscape of his music.
The live incarnation of Distaudio with Ben and Jason promises to deliver a furious and intense experience for all within ear shot.
