DIVA K

Diva K, Kristal Payne, is a 26-year old aspiring national gospel music recording artist. She has studied vocal music for over 12 years. She has attended a music program at Christopher Newport University, Old Dominion University, and University of Arkansas in Little Rock as a vocal performance major. She has won first place in an AKA Star Search, and also won Best Female Soprano soloist in the nation in a national competition for black gospel choirs in New York City. She has also participated in other national music competitions and conventions such as the Stellar Award Gospel Star Search held in Little Rock, Arkansas and INSP’s Christian Artist Talent Search in Colleyville, Texas.
Diva K has sung in the New York Music Festival in New York at Madison Square Gardens, at the White House in Washington, D.C., and at the Alltel Arena in Little Rock, Arkansas at the Gospel Fest where she shared the stage with national recording artist such as The Mississippi Mass Choir, Virtue, Evelyn Turintine-Agee, and many others.
Diva K has a gospel cd project coming out entitled “No Compromise” featuring the hit single “Psalms”. The purpose and focus of her music ministry is to reach souls and get them saved, healed, delivered, and set free by the power of Jesus Christ. She desires to display an uncompromising lifestyle and to prove that she is a truly a “Divine Image of Virtue and Anointing”.
