The sounds are incredibly sharp, and I find myself feeling happier than I did before I'd heard them. The way she incorporates random, soft sounds such as flutes is so creative and refreshing. Even though it appears to be mainly sampling and sound effects, the song-flow screams of musicianship. This is another album that I'm going to buy, because it's definitely a winner!

An apt point of comparison for Divasonic is Everything But The Girl--an
admitted inspiration--along with Pet Shop Boys and Waldeck. Outside the
electronic milieu, one or two songs may owe a little to Nik Heyward, but
that’s a less obvious go-to point. This interesting electronica is played
almost entirely by one Lynda Arnold, who has a nice ear for plaintive,
reflective and elegant songs, about which she is clearly passionate.
