"Divebomber Concert"

Divebomber made me laugh. Don’t take that as a bad thing, because it’s not. Their set genuinely made me smile, which was good. It had all the light hearted and genial elements of ska along with the energetic force of punk. I have to say, it’s been years since I’ve seen a “skank pit”, yet Divebomber encouraged and got the crowd to pull it off. The highlight for me had to be when they played Ghoti Hook’s “My Bike”, mainly for nostalgic reasons. Their set reminded me of the kind of music I used to come to Cornerstone to see. As lame as it sounds, it was its own little trip down memory lane. - Michael Bajaras

Bio

Divebomber is a "punk rock Partridge Family" without the bus and the butterfly collars. They play catchy, rocking songs and are out to put a smile on your face.

Conrad (guitar and vocals), the dad of the group, used to be in the band Ghoti Hook (Tooth and Nail Records) and can't talk about it with his family without someone ridiculing him by saying something like, "Oh, here Conrad goes again, talking about his glory days." His wife Julia, who carries lead vocals duties, sings as aggressively as she gardens. Their son Jordan (15, lead guitar) needs to study way more for tests at school. Their daughter, Victoria (13, vocals and keyboards), exceeds her texting plan pretty much on a monthly basis. Their friends Cullen (15, bass and Guitar Hero) and Isaac (20, drums and looking like Jack Black) round out the group.
