The band receives play with "Dangerous Girl "on the Moozilla Radio out of Nashville Ten. INDIE 104 LA picked up Dangerous Girl in May of 09. On the local music scene in northern California the Divebombers placed 2nd in an live "Battle of the Bands" onKSLUG radio. Also, in a competition called "Local Music," in Eureka California, the band placed 2nd with the title track, "Dangerous Girl" which was later aired on the pop station POWER 96.



The Divebombers formed in Northern California in 2005. They took to writing their own material right away, working on guitar hooks and interesting lyrical ideas. They pride themselves on their live performance. Their style of solid guitar work and strong bass and percussion comes out when they play live. The band displays confidence on stage and has groomed their act while playing gigs in Northern California. The band has now taken their live performance out on the road during 2006 to have some fun , see the west and build a fan base. What sets them apart is that they are clearly having a good time performing . The Bands guitarist , Angela Johnson/Swan from Hollywood California , is a graduate of the Berkely school of music in Boston and has performed and recorded with with WILL.I.AM. Macy Grey, the stage guitarist on MTV's "Rock The Cradle" . Cortney Love. The band's influences include the Pixies, Cure, amongst others. Their sound is a blend of different styes with strong punk and rock influences. During shows in Los Angeles they brought go- go dancers on stage and performed a rock set that inspired a very energetic reaction from the crowd. They have performed shows in both Northern and Southern California.
