"GO! Magazine"

X starts out sounding like a Cure album, but in under a minute, with the introduction of Vocalist Niea Lillie, the album settles into the great pop-rock that is Divide.

I can't help but compare Lillie's vocals to Gwen Stefani of No Doubt. She commands attention with her heartfelt and powerful voice.

This, Divide's debut CD, is a strong both musically and lyrically. For instance, the heartbreak remembered song "Your Side Of The Bed" offers: "I never thought I'd see you again. I never thought I'd be holding your hand. But here you are in the middle of my mind. In my black and white dreams." ....

Of course, the CD is worth getting ahold-of if only for the nine second human beat-box "Pimp Daddy" (performed by member Javier Cruz) which introduces the album finale, "Cadillac Baby." ...

The aformentioned finale song is an awesome pumped-up rocker that ends the album with such a bang that it begs to begin X all over again.
