Review of 'Inland Hempire'
Divide The Day- Furiously good emo-metal from California. Divide The Day have the diverse creative melody of Lost Prophets, they have a crunch that bites down just right, they have a sparse hip-hop element that combines well with their nu brutality in a very healthy Stoopi/Korn way. They're an impressive five piece who've been around since February 2000 - Suzie The Swimmer wants them for her tea - something good is cooking up here, we like the way they control the power with the melody. Our spies tell us they're turning heads in LA at places like the Whisky and The Roxy. They have the melodic qualities of bands like Linkin Park without sounding quite so calculated - they sound like they have a musical rule book of their own, they’re threatening some Lost Prophets flavoured X factor - we're impressed with these three tracks – go check them out… - Sean Worral

"In Depth E-Zine"

Divide the Day 'Saa Dia' Review:<BR>Deftones and Hed(pe) meets Linkin Park is what describes the 4 song ep from Divide The Day. Instead of punching a pillow after a tough day these guys are taking their aggression to another level. Throwing themselves into full throttle through "Saa Dia", "Napalm", "Tyranny", and "Krogan" gives a good feel of the hostility the band reflects. Without hesitation between songs, you can hear through their rigid lyrics and gut wrenching sound that the band is nowhere near ready to stop, to even take a breath. Each song propels into another giving the 4 song ep a great flow. Feeling the energy through the songs intense power, it leaves the listener grabbing for a towel to wipe the sweat from their brow. - Marilyn
