Feeling a bit camera shy


Divine Heist is a four piece ensemble born in Kingston , N.B. whose live performances are captivating audiences across Atlantic Canada. Leaning towards Pop, Rock, Funk ,and incorporating dancable rhythems is what keeps Divine Heist crowds in constant motion and wanting more and more after their high energy performance. Comprised of
musicians from the Saint John Area, the band is: Derek Erb, Ryan Smith, Rob Dyker, and Joel Arsenault. Divine Heist draws inspiration from bands of nearly every genre and add a contemporary twist to their song arrangements to make them unique and catchy to all ages. Having been together since 2003 as a three piece band with Joel, Rob, and Derek, together producing a self titled compilation containing 11 tracks .The album was recorded by V-Side Productions and mastered by Marc Gosselin at The Weather Station in 2004. Later, the addition of guitarist Ryan Smith brought another dimension to the band adding to the intensity and rhythm of the music. Divine Heist has managed to attract an audience that keeps growing and growing across Atlantic Canada. They have played a variety of clubs, festivals and other events including SunSeeker Ball 1 and 2 on the Kingston Peninsula and Saint John's Salty Jam(jazz and Blues) for 2 consecutive years. Also in 2005 taking first place prize at the inaugural Board Rock event, held at the boardwalk in Saint John.
Along the way Divine Heist has shared the stage with fellow east coasters like Slowcoaster, Jimmy Swift Band , The Trews among others on several occasions.
Currently the Heist is touring around in support of the newest record. The band continues to write new material and grow as a band and plan to go as far as their music will take them.
