Michael Garner- writer/producer, keyboard and drum programing/lead and background vocals.

Divine Inspiration" is a husband/wife group that love to praise and worship the Lord. While both are actively involved in their local church, The House of Prayer in Thibodaux, La. , Michael and Nashonda Chane' (pronounced "Shah-Nay") Garner know God has yet a larger purpose. From writing and directing a youth drama, to writing bible studies, the Garners continue to pursue God will. Michael and Chane’ also direct the House of Prayer and La. District Section 2 Youth Choirs (UPC) and praise teams. Divine Inspiration's style is comparable to the combination of "BeBe & CeCe Winans mixed with Kirk Franklin"yet adds a flare of ministerial originality.
As with most gospel music artist, the release of Divine Inspiration's CD is not about public notoriety. It is all about lifting up the name of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and sowing to the wind the ministry they were entrusted with by
Him. Divine Inspiration's debut album entitled, "Stay" is composed of twelve (12) tracks, which address different areas of your spiritual walk. From the soulful title track, "Stay", which petitions heaven for the guidance and strrength in this life, to the hip-hop flavor of "Hold On" which gives encouragement along your spitirual journey, there is sure to be a song for everyone. Divine Inspiration, although having an interesting beginning, came into existence when they realized that God placed them together to unify and make their ministries into one. The name "Divine Inspiration" comes from excerpts from two scriptures:
2 Peter 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
2Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Through His divine power, God has inspired men to write the very bible that we use for guidance in life. What better name to adopt than that which is designed to transmit God's word and purpose. How blessed we are to be tools of
His Divine Inspiration.
