The Divine Secret formed in the rock crucible that is small-town England, where you either rot slowly into middle age or form a band. However, The Divine Secret’s determination and sheer brilliance have seen them lift above the pack, topping tourdates.co.uk charts, being nominated for Best Live Act and Independent Artist at the Exposure Music Awards 2008, and getting glowing reviews from the likes of Kerrang!, BBC Introducing, & Tourdates.co.uk.
Singer/guitarist Joe and drummer Ben met when they were 15 and have been in bands together ever since. When Barny joined The Divine Secret on bass, they began the enthusiastic touring that helped to build their fiercely loyal fan base.
The Divine Secret are one of the best kept secrets in the UK and their incendiary live shows have become legendary during and playing with some highly sought after bands such as Rolo Tomassi, Johnny Truant, The Duke Spirit, Baddies, Pulled Appart By Horses, Johnny Foreigner & Future of the Left
