Bio
Two of us (simo&luca) played in a high school punk band. When it blew up we decided to start a project based on new unreleased songs, English music (Joy Division-New Order, Block Party, Clash)and Italian Lyrics(CCCP-CSI-PGR). One day we went downtown and met Fabio, young drunk immigrant guy from the south Italy whose main peculiarity was his outstandig passion for Italian new-wave(CCCP, Umberto Palazzo, Marlene Kuntz). After a long rumble we finally managed to steal his beer, and as a recognition of his well trained fight skills we offered him the following round of ale. The outcome of that day was a strange name for our band "Divisione Syphon" and a brand new drummer, Davide, the barman.
Our songs were hosted three times at "DEMO", a radio programme of Italian Broadcasting Corporation (RAI), and this gave us in 2008 the chance to record our first Album for an Italian indipendent label, Nomadism Records, which is coming out in 2009 late spring
