"An unusual performer"

In connection with Poetry & Jazz, a weekly event at Covent Garden’s Poetry Cafe' in London, Peter (aka Divyendu) first came to my attention as a talented and unusual ‘floor’ performer. He had made English translations of a seminal Bengali poet , set his love poems for guitar and voice and performed them. This may sound esoteric in the extreme, but in fact the results were accessible, hauntingly beautiful pieces.
