The Diwanimi musical creation is embedded in the Balkans popular music confluence and in the sound and tone of Mediterranean music. It is inspired by the endless richness of different cultural mixture. The Balkans traditional repertoire is elated by Diwanimi with refinement and originality. This musical foray aims at rekindling the meaning and way of ancestral varied music.

From Montenegro, Tunisia, Algeria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, France the Diwanimi musicians are the perfect incarnation of multiculturalism and take part nowadays in the renewal of contemporary music. This mixture of influences and the backgrounds of the musicians bring assuredly creative richness to this project.

Artists of international renown such as the singer Lydia Filipovic or the Lute player Ziad Benyoussef set the tone to this masterpiece and become the emblem of this musical syncretism that characterise the band.

The pianist St├ęphane Cazialhac, the guitarist Yacine Amarouchene and the (double) bass player Jasmin Ljutic and the drummer Simon Pourbaix take freely part in the fusion of these two worlds with the same scope and intensity. And it is on the stage that energy, voluptuousness, enthusiasm and intensity are actually vented arousing emotion in the audience.
