Jordon Crockett is a recording artist from Prince George County,Maryland who goes by Dizzy Gordo when on the mic. Dizzy Gordo's career started off in the 10th grade, however, this wasn't where he first discovered his musical talents. Gordo was in the choir elementary school until middle school and participated in plays during the 5th grade. He can also play the trumpet and the drums. When Jordon was only 11 years old, two of his friends would always freestyle, inspiring him to do the same. The trio eventually wrote a song to perform at their school's talent show marking
Dizzy's inception into rapping. Later in early high school Dizzy Gordo joined a Go-Go band with his friends leading him to teaching himself how to play the keyboard.

The death of Gordo's three friends motivated him to take do more with his
life. He wanted to do something productive because he realized that "this
[life] shit could be over at any moment." It was the summer of 10th grade
when the tragedies occurred: On Thursday, June 28th, 2012 Avionadromida
passed away from a seizure; two days later his friend Jerry was killed
while trying to break up a fight at a party; then the following Monday his
middle school best friend George was shot. George death took a major toll
on Jordon the two "jumped off the porch" together and had a brother-like

Dizzy Gordo was first introduced to CHESS in late 2013 by his friend
Knight, who started CHESS a couple of years prior. Allen le grand (another recording artist and producers of CHESS) engineered Gordo and let him use his studio since he started rapping, creating the early stepping
stones for his music career. Soon after Gordo dropped his timeless song,
Boof Batch (remix), Knight (co-founder and recording artist of CHESS) and
Miles approached him through a group message inviting him onto the CHESS
team. Gordo feels a part of a family with CHESS, as the conglomerate has
worked towards more positivity and stability in his environment. "Nothing
really changed from before I joined, I just added the name to my bio cause
we were already close" he says.

With influences from Kid Cudi, Soulja Boy, and Bankroll Fresh, Gordo sets
out to create music in honor of the death of three friends. Cudi's
creativity and ability to master so many genres of music has been an
impactful inspiration for Gordo creative interests as he aims to do the
same with his career. According to Gordo, Soulja Boy has "done everything
at age 16 that these new niggas have been trying to do and was
the first rapper to take over the internet gordo aspires to be even more
impactful throughout his career. Bankroll's song "17" sparked something
inside Gordo when he first heard it at age 17. To this day, Gordo pays a lot of respect to the recently passed legend. Bankroll inspired him to
create real and relatable music for everyone to enjoy.
