DJ D. Jones is a musically diverse DJ who has a passion for
creatively mixing and blending Top 40, Hip-Hop, R&B, Dance
and other eclectic genres that touch, move, encourage and take
peoples worries away.
His love for DJing began at his high school radio station. After high
school, he sharpened his radio DJ skills at Kennedy King College &
Lewis University. DJ D. Jones interned at the former local radio station
known as (WEJM 106 Jamz) and MCA records. After 7 years of working
full time in a marketing and promotional capacity for Indy labels in
Chicago and founding his own event coordinating/artist booking service
known as D. Jones Productions, he left the music scene to pursue a
different career.
In 2009 he decided to return to his true passion of sharing music with
people. By focusing on the craft of DJing and providing the best
experiences possible through diverse musical stylings, DJ D. Jones is
now attracting upscale private, corporate and commercial clients. In 2013
DJ D. Jones was booked for over 70 events around the Chicagoland area.
In 2013 he was named an official DJ for Stock Private Vodka. He is also
a member of the Future Star DJs and Blok Bizness DJs. In 2013 DJ D.
Jones launched headphonejones.com and firstclassjones.com to showcase
the best in independent hip hop and inspirational photography.
In 2014 he is focused on building a reputation for creating unforgettable
musical moments at parties, festivals, corporate functions and private one song at a time.
