DJ E.M.P.

DJ E.M.P. is an open format DJ with diverse influences from both the NY and Washington DC metropolitan areas. Performing for over 9 years, E.M.P. has entertained rooms requiring all genres of music including Hip Hop, EDM, Latin, Afro, Reggae, Sing-along/throwbacks, and more.

E.M.P. was first exposed to turntables as an infant. His father was a private events DJ and continued all throughout his childhood where he began helping as a roadie as the age of 13. At the age of 15 he got his first pair of CDJ's and from there the rest is history. First introduced to nightlife in college, E.M.P.'s love for the craft exploded, working his way into college residencies and eventually graduating into much larger venues across the Long Island, NY area.

In 2017 E.M.P. moved to Washington DC area for a job transfer, but soon realized that the DC nightlife scene was something he needed to be a part of. He went out and paid his dues in networking, learned from the most talented DJs in the area, developed new skills and knowledge of new genres, and eventually worked his way into 8 different residences, ultimately playing in 14 different venues in a 3 year timeframe.

Currently back on Long Island, E.M.P. is aggressively looking to diversify his calendar, seeking gigs at new venues in the NY and DC areas, but also beyond, in new cities across the United States.
