DJ HONES [Ah-Nes]

DJ HONES Got he’s early Intro into The DJ World by being a Radio Host for Power FM/

din Radio 101,2 FM in the outskirts of Copenhagen Denmark. “I would always stay

after the show, and listen to old record’s, and after A While I started to mix them

together – I just came natural to me”

The Radio soon got switched out for Nightclubs, and Dj Hones Quickly became a

household name on the Local Dj Scene. A deal with Sony Music Denmark followed, but

Mid-way through recording his first album, Hones realized that changed was needed. and

set his sights on New York City, the birthplace of Hip Hop.

Arriving in the mid-90, he immediately began playing at a slew of New York’s hottest

haunts – Pangaea, Russian tearoom, Eugene’s, and Sutra Lounge to name a few.

Hones has supplied the soundtracks to parties for Elite Model Management, Law &

Order (TV Show), US Tennis Association, Patti LaBelle label launch, Alicia Keys fundraiser

and a host of others

After more than a Decade in NYC – Hones is now back in Europe

- once again Calling Denmark for “Home”.

Blige - DJ Hones has also released he’s own music with Artist’s like Fat Joe, Trina &

Royce 5,9 - As Well as delivered official Remix’s for Twista / R.Kelly & Mellah (702)

He is responsible for collaborations with artist like Lil Wayne, WC, LOC, Busta Rhymes,

Fatman Scoop, Lumidee, Pitbull, Shonie, Hampenberg&Brown, U$O, Shontelle, Kato and

Rune Rk
