DJ ILLATEK

Illatek's name has been spreading throughout the urban music scene creating experiences at Garage Nation, Proud Camden, Supa Dupa Fly and with Boxpark for his UK Garage Takeover alongside Westside Radio.

He is a club & radio DJ with over 15 years experience all over the UK and abroad in Tenerife, Faliraki, Prague, Lazerote, Turkey, Mombassa, and Marbella.  After DJing at parties for Blackstreet, Jodeci, SWV, Dru Hill and Amy Winehouse, he branched out into promoting and put on events with the cream of the UK's underground scene including Skepta, Jammer, Donae'o, Imran Khan, N Dubz, and Funky Dee.

As a mix dj in demand Illatek's guest mixes have been showcased by BBC 1Xtra, BBC Radio 1, the BBC Asian Network, Westside Radio, Capital Xtra, and Kiss FM. New York is becoming a second home and he has been travelling to the USA to play sets for Livin' Proof and featuring on 50 Cent's DJ Whoo Kidd's show on Sirius XM.

Playing an open-format style, his sets cover a wide spectrum of hip-hop, trap, grime, R&B, house and club styles.

He regularly presents a show on Westside Radio where he presents both the Hip Hop Back in the Day and UK Garage Takeover shows. Illatek is also an emerging producer and is signed to Pirate Material records in the UK. His recent release Move Like garnered some attention and his Donae'o, Bruno Mars, Tory Lanez and Blackstreet remixes have been equally well received. His next single Come Thru is being released soon.
