DJ J Drago and DJ Noir

The husband and wife DJ duo, Alexis & Joey Gutierrez, creatively known as DJ Noir & DJ J Drago are co-founders of the internationally recognized DJ/production collective known as Juke Bounce Werk [Los Angeles, CA]. They are also co-hosts on RWD.FM's Juke Bounce Werk Radio. J Drago & Noir are the North American A&R managers for All Roads Music, a UK based electronic music label owned by drum and bass veteran, Kevin King.

JUKE BOUNCE WERK

J Drago & Noir along with the Juke Bounce Werk collective have laid the groundwork for the expansion of Chicago Juke/Footwork and 160bpm music in their hometown of Los Angeles, California. Juke Bounce Werk began as a local monthly event in Los Angeles in the spring of 2013, hosting the likes of DJ/producers such as 6Blocc, DJ Tre, DJ Earl, Sinistarr and more. Shortly thereafter, JBW became an essential music platform via their Soundcloud and implementation of a weekly top ten mix series, which saw participation from artists around the globe. The series became a go-to standard for the global juke and footwork music community. JBW saw their first EP release in the summer of 2014 and have since been featured on many compilation projects throughout the year and continue to push the sound as one of the most active DJ crews in the city of Los Angeles.      

ALL ROADS MUSIC

In the fall of 2013, Noir & J Drago were hand selected by Kevin King (veteran drum and bass producer, formerly known as Lemon D of Valve Recordings and Metalheadz fame), to head up a new music label project called All Roads Music. Within 4 months of the label’s inception the first release was launched via worldwide distribution. All Roads is set to release it’s third project for 2014 at the end of October. J Drago & Noir have played an important role in the signings of DJ Earl, Footmerc, DJ Chap, Sirr TMO, Traxman, and Tripletrain to the label's roster.

RWD.FM

DJ Noir, DJ J Drago and Juke Bounce Werk are currently the hosts of a weekly 4 hour Internet radio show on RWD.FM each Sunday. Each week, the JBW roster showcases the most current and forward thinking sounds in the juke/footwork/160 scene today. Special guests have included: RP Boo, Traxman, and DJ Earl. projects. In addition, they are current resident djs at Rocksteady Tuesdays in Los Angeles and have been supporting djs for Bailey [Metalheadz, UK], 6Blocc [Digital 6], N-Type [UK], Truth [NZ], Sta-RO [Soulection], DJ Earl [Teklife], Traxman [Teklife], Reid Speed [Play Me], and Gridlok [RAM Records].

PHOTOGRAPHY

Noir is also an internationally published photographer. She has dedicated her skill to the documentation of underground street cultures including: graffiti, art and music festivals, street photography and portraiture. Her work has appeared in The Los Angeles Times, DJ Mag, Mixmag and Schmap Travel Guides.
