DJ Vena

Dario Aravena "VENA" is a  DJ, percussionist and promoter from

Austin,Texas. VENA made a name for himself playing with local

groups Capyac, Cecilia and the Broken Hearts, La Vida Buena,

including Austin Chronicle's 3 time Band of the Year (2012-2015),

Riders Against the Storm. VENA has had the opportunity to perform

at some of the best music festivals in Texas: Austin City Limits,

Utopia Fest, Float Fest, and SXSW. VENA's reputation as a tastemaker

led him to book and promote his own regular showcases -

Live and Direct (Hip Hop and Pop), Open Future (Future Bass/

Footwork/Jersey Club), and ¡Hijole! (Latin). VENA's background in

audio engineering and a professional approach to production allowed

him to record and remix tracks for many artists such as Queen Deelah, 

La Vida Buena, Cecilia and the Broken Hearts, Click Clack, and Slooom.

DJ/Producer VENA is goin' back to Cali in 2019 focusing on the Latin

club sound that raised him. VENA is  co-producer of  Lupulo, a monthly

world bass music event at  Common Space Brewery in Hawthorne, CA.

VENA's love for Footwork inspired him to release EPs DesignZ Part 1 &

DesignZ Part 2 . VENA is also one half of Texas based party rock duo

Drum and Dumber set to release their first EP ¿¡Que Chingados?! in 2019.

Most recently VENA has produced future dancehall releases with Beats

of Burden (ATX) and collaborated with DJ Cayanazo (Subsuelo Crew CA),

solidifying his sound as someone to look out for in Latin Bass world.

VENA has a vision to break the limits of World Club music into the

mainstream and unite the world under one loving groove...one beat at a time.
