Bio
Baya first hit the turntables as a cast member of MTV's hit show The Real World, Brooklyn. Her first residency at New York City hot spot Angels and Kings quickly got her noticed by New York's elite and lead her to play for exclusive audiences throughout the city. From Marc Ecko's private loft, to the Red Bull Space, and multiple charity-driven events for WWF, Aveda, and Music Unites, she hit the ground running and hasn't slowed down.
High profile events are her specialty, DJ'ing for clients like Christian Dior, Veuve Clicquot, Sundance Film Festival, Food and Wine Magazine, Bacardi, Aspen Fashion Week, and Red Bull. Recently opening for Michal Menert of Pretty Lights, and Shwayze and Cisco Adler Baya keeps expanding her clientele, proving she's the most diverse female DJ in the game.
As an open format DJ, Baya studies many music genres and caters to each particular client. From electro to top 40, House to Dub Step, she brings sex appeal, style, and talent to every stage she rocks.
