In less time than it takes for many DJs to develop the ability to successfully mix records, Mike Fernandez, the Austin based DJ Blitz has become one of the hottest things Central Texas has to offer. DJ Blitz dynamic style, and surgical precision enables him to seamlessly blend genres of music ranging from hip-hop to country, house to dub-step, and classic rock to trance; there isn’t a type of music that he can’t or won’t play.
Known throughout Texas, and around the country, DJ Blitz is said to, “Bring the noise.” He has been seen racking dance floors, and keeping the party going from sundown to sunup; he has literally had to have breakfast catered because club patrons just couldn’t get enough. Following in the footsteps of his friend and mentor, the world renowned DJ Silver, from 2011’s #1 music tour in the world, you can find DJ Blitz rocking the decks at many of Texas’ hottest nightclubs such as Austin’s own,Geisha room, Madison, Treasure Island. And because he is not just a hometown DJ, you can also find him playing at San Antonio’s Grotto, Houston's Estate lounge and Lubbock's new venue The Roof. Going a step further, DJ Blitz has also gotten the nod amidst one of the world’s wildest, and most well known parties, SPRING BREAK in South Padre Island when hundreds of thousands of the nation’s students come to unwind. It was there that DJ Blitz was invited to play a series of special guess DJ gigs at the #1 party spot on the island, Louie’s Backyard where such superstars as Feli Fel, Trick Daddy, Ying Yang Twins, Lil Scrappy, Petey Pablo, Nitty, Trillville, Juvenile, Baby Bash, Mike Jones from Swishahouse Records, J-Kwon, and Nina Sky have performed.
DJ Blitz’s endless beats, and party-rock style are something that is extremely sought after by crowds from coast-to-coast. His phenomenal style is so impressive that he has been scooped up for DJ residencies at venues throughout Texas, including Austin’s Haven Lounge, San Antonio’s Aquifer and San Marcos’ Texas Music Theatre.
Dj Blitz has opened up for or played along side acts as Benny Benassi, Adrian Lux, Dj Enferno, Pauly D, Dev, Jamie Drastik, Dj silver, Rapid Ric, etc.
DJ Blitz is happy to play any club anywhere. He is also available for corporate and private events, and can develop custom mixes for any need. He’s ready to rock, and will certainly bring any party to another level. No crowd has ever been disappointed, and they are always left wanting more!
