Influenced by the Denver CO rave seen in the mid to late 90's, Contrast came to through break dancing and going to warehouse parties as a young teenager. Now mixing for over 2 decades in clubs from the Midwest to the west coast, he has held residencies at some of the top club nights in the country and worked along side of some of the leaders in the industry as a solo act and as part of an old Denver CO based Drum and Bass tag team (Contrast & Vortex). Over the years he has primarily been known for mixing Drum and Bass and is always paying homage to the godfathers of our musical generation of all genres, educating the new ravers as well as invigorating the old heads, by not just slamming new tunes,but curating a set where classics are just as viable as unreleased tracks and well known banger's.

Contrast has worked with Such artists as Dj Blang, Mickey Flair, Mc Kap, S-doobie, Beatlab.co, The GoWorld Project, Werd Mc, Tc Izlam, MC Dino, Dj Fury, Emcee Curious,Vortex, Dcypher, MC Ian D (RIP) and Stevin Ryan, BUT has warmed up the stage for  Dj Craze,Ed Rush & Optical, Dylan, Tech Itch, Danny The Wild Child,, Red One, Huda Hudia, Frankie Bones, Total Science, Rahzel of the Roots Crew, KRS ONE, Pendulum, Dj Dan, Donald Glaude, Dj Rap, Planet of the Drums (AK1200, Dieselboy, Dara & Messinian) on multiple occasions, CRS?, Babel, Electric Sky Church, Rabbit and the Moon, Empress, Reid Speed, Aphrodite and many more.
