DJ GENERATION 2002 Second International DJ Festival
The First International DJ Festival's numerous reactions lead the organizers to the idea to make the festival annual and International in Yerevan , broadening its geographical frames year by year.
The Second International DJ Festival “DJENERATION, on the Republic Square, in Yerevan .
The organizers of the festival were “Alfael” Producing center, the Social Youth Organization “Our Generation”, Russkoye Radio-Yerevan and Dynamite FM-Yerevan. The general sponsor of the festival was the Union of Russian Armenians (president – Ara Abrahamyan).
DJs from England , France , Lebanon , Russia , Georgia , Latvia , Estonia , the Ukraine and Armenia took part in the project. From 17:00 pm till next day's morning - unlimited dance music in sets and mixes.
DJs from all over the world, competitions, prizes and games – all this within the frames of the Second International DJ Festival “DJeneration”.
More than 30.000 spectators were gathered on the Republic Square admiring DJs unsurpassed skills and professionalism, exciting music, 100-killowatt sound – all this enabled the gathered people to dance and enjoy the desired feast. “Kotayk” beer, which was free on that great day, could appease the ardor and fervor only for a while.
Home Affairs Department guys secured the safety and order. Our collaborators from Russkoye Radio-Ekaterinburge and Dynamite FM Masha Batmazova and Svetlana Tolmachova showed their great assistance in the feast realization. They had arrived together with cameramen of the MTV Russia 4th channel to make reportage on the festival.

DJ Cristo’s set really was the show taker, with his ryhmic tracks & sonic delights, he really had our crowds jumping for the most joy!
During those several days spent in our small but so much beautiful country the DJs from abroad managed to make friends, share their experience and develop DJ culture in Armenia . Trips to Yerevan and visits of such places of interest as Garni, Geghard, Echmiadzin, Sevan were only an occasion to establish closer relationships between the young generations of different countries and get acquainted with Armenian culture and customs.
And the separation was undoubtedly quite hard for it is always difficult to say goodbye to friends.
But, we don't say goodbye, we only say See You Soon on the Third International DJ Festival.

Christof Wiseman (AKA DJ Cristo) originally hails form Germany, but now resides in London via Manchester.
Chris is no stranger to dance & electronic music, he has been Dj’ing & involved in music since the early 90’s acid house scene & has truly evolved over the years to become one of the industry’s brightest stars & dubbed “one to watch” by key industry movers & shakers.
He was the only London DJ to get hand picked for the 1st Las Vegas music conference in 2006. The President & founder music conference in Las Vegas said of Chris’s talent:

Chris has had the privilege of playing all over the globe, some countries include Russia (Moscow) Armenia (Yerevan), Czech Republic (Prague), Latvia (Riga / Ogre) Bulgaria (Sofia) USA (Las Vegas / NYC) France (Paris) Germany, Portugal, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Greece, Spain & many more & is now in high demand.
He has been regularly billed alongside many of his peers including Sasha, Carl Cox, John Digweed, Sander Kleinberg, Danny Rampling, Perry O’neil, Ferry Corsten, Danny Tenaglia, Marc Spoon, Erick Morillo, Stonebridge, Justin Robertson, Junkie XL, Christopher Lawrence, The Crystal Method, Danieli Davoli and Tiesto to name but a small few, playing at quality clubs & massive summer festivals with crowds exceeding 40,000 people.
As a remixer & artist; he made waves with his remix of Paris based Urban Medicines “Momentum” on FBSS records out of Canada last year.
The track gave him respect throughout the industry as a top flight DJ & heavyweight remixer. Over the last few years his productions skills have grown & he now has a string of top remixes & productions & collaborations under his belt, with some top artists & labels worldwide.
Chris’s style is at the very cutting edge of the ever evolving club sound, his club sets can span fat funky house, through to dirty electro house, to his big room progressive house sound & beyond.
He setup his own record label this year (Full Circle records) and his latest track ‘Far Horizons’ is getting major radio & club play all over the world.
