By Senior Writer C.W. Ross

David Charles Kramer also known as DJ Devious started learning to play the guitar at the young age of seven and was performing by the age of eight.

David attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts were he received a BM in Songwriting, a BM in Music Synthesis, and studied a wide variety of styles on the guitar including Rock, Jazz, Blues, Funk, and Classical.

Hearing all of this you might think that his music would have a classical tone to it but nothing could be further from the truth. DJ Devious' sound is full bore rock guitar with loads of turntable action including more scratching then can be found at a flea infested dog show!

His lyrics tend to be more on the gritty side, especially when dealing with sexual subjects, and with the f-bombs found on several of the songs. Some of the songs feature rapping style of vocals while others offers up regular singing ones.

Most of the songs have a driving rock beat to them with some even verging on fast punk. Listening to the songs and all of the components that went into the making of the final sound you can tell that DJ Devious is talented.

Think of his music as the Beastie Boys meets Nirvana. If your ears can handle the adult language found on a few of the songs then you should really enjoy DJ Devious' latest release, Pretty Picture.

"I have come to the realization that happiness is everything. I've noticed that having a caring and giving attitude makes me an extremely happy person. With my performing and teaching of music, I've been blessed with the opportunity to give back to the Entertainment Community. This community has inspired me throughout my whole life with amazing motion pictures and music which has been my life's soundtrack. Through these inspiring moments, I've become truly motivated as an artist. I've written and recorded new songs and have gotten to work with some really good people. How could I do this just for myself? I can't. I do it for all the entertainers who have influenced me over the years, my family, friends, and anyone who can appreciate art. Being a part of a community and having the mind set that we're working together to make the world a better place is so fulfilling. The Entertainment Industry has a huge influence on today's society and I think it is important to remember that. Entertainers who serve as good role models are making a world of difference and it makes me proud. It is therefore my duty to do the best that I can in my work, influence people in a positive way, and always be supportive of my fellow artists."
