I met Dizam through a few mutual friends last year. I heard her spin on a Hip Hop night. She was dope. Seamless selections & blends.

Los Angeles based DJ Dizam, is one of the hottest and most innovative female DJs to hit the scene.
A graduate of the prestigious LA Scratch Academy in 2008, Dizam signed up for classes and had her first gig DJing at Halloween party a month after at Carbon Bar and Lounge. It has been non stop ever since. Dizam's steady rise comes from her earthly ability to seamlessly blend a variety of music styles that include house, b-side, hip-hop, afro-beat, some classic 90s, with a splash of reggae::
Dizam is a true student of the “art”-seeking out unusual beats and sounds and exploring songs that other DJs are not spinning. She is “old school” at heart, loving rare finds and spending an afternoon “digging” for new and undiscovered music to play. She, also, loves supporting fellow DJs by listening to underground mixes and supporting underground events::
Dizam spins all over Los Angeles, from Carbon to Kress, 7 Lounge in Downtown to Holly's in Hollywood. Dizam currently spins at Candela Bar and Lounge every Sunday from 4-8p in Miracle Mile::
