Dj Ethos

Representing Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico via Los Angeles were he has been making a name for himself through commitment and on-point performances with the ethical integrity of a true Turntablist.

  For a over a decade Ethos has been rocking as MC / DJ duo with Jroz One which both set a standard in the Los Angeles underground Hip Hop scene. This has opened up more doors thus giving him the opportunity to link up with Bocafloja, one of Mexico’s most influential and respected emcees. This solidifies his role as a member of Quilombo Arte. Respected Dj in Latin America’s Hip Hop scene. Ethos is also part of the world wide known Project Blowed, one of the most ground braking and innovative Los Angeles based crew of our time. Where he still rocks with groups like Acid Reign, 2Mex, Ellay Khule and Aceyalone which are considered LA Hip Hop Icons.  Now currently rocking with Los Rakas delivering that world wide sound to new audiences and true fans around the planet. 

Ethos has toured with and supported Artist like KRS One, Ana Tijoux, Niña Dioz, Ceci Bastida, and has opened up for talent like Ozomatli, J-Boog, Zion I, Collie Buddz, Freestyle Fellowship, Zion I, Visionaries, Dj Nu-Mark, Money Mark, Dead Prez, The Beatnuts and many more. 

  You can always find Dj Ethos at his residency SUBSUELO, a Global Bass night featuring Djs Canyon Cody, Gozar and Gazoo rocking Cumbia, Hip Hop, Tropical edits and a live Flamenco set from Gerardo Morales and Gabriel Osuna. You can also witness the original fusion between La Tigresa and Ethos as they collaborate in a rhythmic percussive display of Flamenco dancing and turntablism in a call and response style. All captured and documented by Farah Sosa. Not a party to miss.  Also now part of Fania's future party Calentura heating up the scene across the country.
