I am dj. flugvél og geimskip. I like to make music. I record songs in the evenings when I am alone in the apartment by using my old keyboards and sing. The songs often sounds happy but still there is some loneliness inside. When I make music I like to have something exciting in it. I have newer learned how to play piano so I think that my piano sound is a bit different from what people usually hear so that works exciting. And my texts are often about something exotic so thats make the songs interesting. The music that have had influence on me is for example Joe Meek, Martin Denny, Raymond Scott, Sigríður Níelsdóttir, Love and Rockets, Nino rota, Ennio Moricone and Nancy Sinatra. This music is cool, sad, beautifull and sincere and have much influence on the listeners mood.
I like to make my music, I only use sound that I like the best in the keyboards and the text usually come from itself when I listen to the song and make the melody.
I like to play on stage and I think that is very good for a musician. I don´t know what genre my music is but it is refreshing. I started playing because my friends were in bands and were making music and could not see me some evening for that reason. So I thought for myself that I could make my own band and then I would not be as lonely when I were one at night. I think it can bee heard in the music that I am lonely when I make it. But it can also be heard that I like to make the music and there is that joy in the songs also. I newer do anything in my music that I´m not sure I like, so my music is from my heart.
