Originally from chicago and moved to wisconsin about 4 and a half years ago for college and graduated from Concordia in Mequon. Since he was a kid he's been very active in music and djing seems to be his calling. One of GMO's dreams is to be one of the best known djs in the world. He does create his own music and has his own genre that no one has.
Since the 2nd grade, GMO always had a passion for music. Growing up he always watched things that had to do with music, including watching channels like MTV, MTVa.m., VH1 and Bet. Watching people perform their talent on stage was exciting and he wanted to do that. So as a kid growing up, Orlando started recording his favorite songs off the radio onto the old tape decks. Then started doing it with cds, and people always wanted him to make them one. So then he was thinking, wow, he really loves music and people like the music he plays. GMO soon learned that disc jockeys do that, and ever since then, He's wanted to pursue something like that.
Over the years he's studied, practiced and worked very hard to master his style of DJing in all genres. Orlando has now spun music at many different venues for many different occasions, in different states, and has made new followers every time. Everyone says Orlando has a great future ahead of him and he believes a summerfest type venue is that open door of opportunity.
Grand Master O has been blessed to work with many big names, including in milwaukee like Kid CutUp (dj opened for Wiz k.) DJ ShortRound (also dj'd at summerf.) and all of the v100.7 crew (internship with Dj O), Opened for "Fools For Rowan" currently in the summerfest lineup and they all support him 100%.
Orlando has always wanted to open for someone famous like Lupe, Tiesto, Pharrell and so on. He always attracts new crowds of people from all over, along with tons of followers he's gain.
