Beat The Trunk Up-Single (2008) in heavy rotation on radio stations down south.

G.T. is known by most as one of Houston's hottest DJ's and dearest on-air personalities, but off air and outside of the DJ booth he is quickly becoming known for his creative lyricism on the mic. His story is one of te uncommon--the gifted and talented.

As a true lover of hip hop music, G.T. was drawn to the mic from te beginning. "I was always a rapper..I DJ'd to support my rap career," he says, clearing myths of his hip hop beginnings. In fact for the last ten years, G.T. has been building Key Players Entertainment, pursuing his own career as an artist and holding it down as Houston's "only DJ that gives a JAMM!" and creating a name for himself as an on-air personality for Houston's num.1 hip hop/R&B station, 97.9.

It was during his college years at Houston's Texas Southern University that he linked up with friend and business partner DJ Steve Nice and took a shot at radio to pay for expenses of his first album, which featured a hit single "Our House."

G.T. continued to hold his own as a popular DJ in the South and has since been nominated consecutively for the Mix Show Power Summit's "Dirty South DJ of the Year" award. At the same time, the triple threat-hip hop lover released the first single "You Don't Wanna" from his solo album HTX. The Texan anthem crept up on the urban club hoppers and has since taken southern radio by storm.

With G.T.'s latest project set to hit the streets this fall, he's certain to make more waves than radio imagined! It's clear why he is receiving so much more love from the industry and public alike-- G.T. is the hip hop Renaissance man. He covers all areas. He's a lyricist in it's truest form and the consistency seen through his work ethic is something rarely seen.
