DJ K-NAO

I grew up in Ann Arbor in the artsy, black-sheep side of both my parents' families. My dad was an orchestra conductor, my mom a graphic designer.

I was always aurally inclined, more so than visually or mathematically. But it wasn't until High School that I started working on music.

Over the past couple years, I've had the opportunity to mingle with the DJ and musical communities that center around the things I'm interested in. I've even had the opportunity to meet some of my idols, and a friend of mine in Indonesia has even played some of my tracks at Millennium, the largest club in Bali!

I'm highly inspired by Japan and its music, and am a member of the American "J-Core" community, "Allkore".
