Anthony met his manager at a young age, have been friends, shared lows and highs with him. Tried different ways to make it in different aspect of his life. They owned and ran a convenience store together that temporarily worked successfully; few years went by and they had to get rid of the store due to family issues presented at the time.

Each went and got jobs; his manager went back to school and became a computer engineer, while Anthony went to work in nightlife as a Hookah Man. Quickly, he fell in love with the work of the DJs and performers that he saw coming in and out of the venue where he worked, bought a set of Pioneer plates and started mixing songs and beats.

Being from Dominican Republic and musically inspired by the Bachata and Merengue rhythm and beats from the islands surrounding, DJ LaMenaza has been driven to follow proper footsteps and to compose such heartfelt sensations that evoke nothing but goose bumps and desire.

His friend came to see him play at his home and he got the idea to start promoting his talent and came up with the LTG Entertainment concept. The idea of combining forces sparked from their joint passion for music, great vibes and entertainment. Aside from being partners in crime, they are best friends and most importantly, both equally hungry for the rapture that music provides.

With more than three years of experience and hundreds of professional appearances, DJ LaMenaza (otherwise known as Anthony Jeffry Gutierrez) has become the go-to artist for all types of events in and around the Boston, MA area as well as in and around Providence, RI area, with a unique skill that sets him apart from other DJs in the region.

 He has been exposed to the world of DJaying after being on Tour in the Dominican Republic, twice with his team of LTG Entertainment, in the past 4 years; he has been eager to bring his new love for the art to multiple states. Since his last tour, he has developed a unique style and mix built around his passion for Caribbean rhythms such as Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Urban Latin, SoCa, Reggaeton, Hip-Hop, Reggae and Dancehall.

 Awesome sounds coupled with the exciting energy he puts into every appearance has helped to quickly established himself as one of the most sought-after local DJ, as every set is sharp, unforgettable and mixed perfectly for the venue and crowd of any gig he appears at. Stimulated by the success of his blooming career, DJ LaMenaza loves expressing the full force of his creativity at every gig, and he is thankful for the support and forward momentum the Boston and Providence scenes has provided him.
