DJ Matheus

I have to admit, my whole life I've been an artistic individual, mainly in the studio arts (drawing, painting, sculpting, photography, etc.) As I became older and being very computer literate, I began taking on graphic design, and later 3D animation. It's interesting, i'll never forget my first encounter with a beat sequencer. A friend in my animation class in high school referred me to FL Studio. I immediately became consumed by it, pushing my boundaries every day to engineer cooler and better sounds. At first I was making trance and techno, just that housy "four on the floor" beat. And then I heard Bassnectar for my first time at a show my friends took me to. Words cannot explain how much of an influence this experience was for me. Just sensing the level of energy gave me such inspiration. I've spent the past 2 years really getting serious about producing music like this and will never stop letting the sounds evolve. There's not much to say about what inspires me..because pretty much everything inspires me. There's no limit as to how far I can take it with the tools I have to work with.
