DJ Mello T

Grammy nominated DJ Mello T style is live music, in your face, full of energy with emphasis on audience participation. He joined forces with international hip hop star, DJ Kool. Together, Mello T and Kool, created and performed on recording hits and videos such as; “The Music Ain't Loud E'nuff,” “How Low Can You Go,” “What the Hell U Come In Here For” and “Reggae Dance.” DJ Mello T was also featured on DJ Kool's smash hit recording and video “Let Me Clear My Throat” on the American/SONY recording label which went on to sell over 500,000 copies. “New Jazz Joint” (2009) (HipHop, Go-Go, Jazz) is DJ Mello T's current international release along with grammy nominated Jazz sax artist Ski Johnson. “Today” (October 2007) (HipHop, GoGo) is DJ Mello T's previous national release along with the rap group Madd Science. Mello T co-produced, co-wrote, and recorded vocals as a featured artist. “Testin' My Mic” (April 2000) (HipHop, GoGo and Techno/Club mixes) was DJ Mello T's most infamous national release, true to the DJ Kool influence and tradition, the track was recorded live at a night club on the historic “U” Street corridor in Washington, D.C.. Aside from his skills as a disc jockey for major clubs throughout the country and his history as a recording artist, DJ Mello T has also began a journey into acting, and has several film and stageplay projects in the works with seasoned actors Anwar Glover, and comedian Michael Colyar.
