Bio
DJ Naughty Boyy is a Minneapolis based DJ and remixer. Since landing his first major gig as Prince's personal DJ, at the age of 19, Naughty Boyy has gone on to hold residencies from LA to the San Francisco Bay area and guest spots nation-wide. Meanwhile, DJNB continues to drop (non-commissioned) remixes for many of today's pop and indie artists. Currently DJNB is preparing to release his first remix CD and his first solo single, in early 2012.
In 1986, DJNB found himself having a strong musical love affair with a sound known as "Chicago house music", which he considers to be a huge influence on his production style. Additional influences include Basement Jaxx, Olav Basoski, Armand Van Helden, Timbaland, The Neptunes, and hometown heros Jam & Lewis, among others. Add these influences together and the outcome is smooth, funky and electric dance productions, that have become a trademark sound for the naughty one, or as he sums it up, "Thick & Juicy". With a promising future ahead of him club-heads should "fasten their seat belts because it's gonna be a funky ride!"
