Bio
DJ Rapa is one of the best Latvia’s RnB & Urban stage representatives.
He acknowledged passion to music at the age of 10 when he was playing keyboards and singing. At the age of 16 he first performed as DJ at high school disco. After graduation he was more interested in technical things – stages, lights, sound etc. to find out more about his chosen future job – DJ. Being stagehand once in a while he got requests to DJ in small local parties, clubs.
On 2005 he was invited to work in club Essential as light-jokey.
On 2006 he started to perform as R‘n‘B floor DJ. Till now he holds residency in the biggest club in Baltics – club Essential. In between that he have participated in all The Club event series in Riga.
His goal is to educate clubbers in R‘n‘B, hip hop, urban, funky, mash-up, turntablism and oldschool music and to make their party breathtaking.
At 2008 he first organized Over The Top tour with amazing tour closing party what gave him idea about regular R’n‘B party sessions. Till now at least twice a year he organizes Over The Top party sessions.
Starting from the end of March 2011 you can also hear him on European Hit Radio waves @ new Urban music program.
Have performed on one stage with such artists as Busta Rhymes, Onyx, Ja Rule, Wu Tang Clan etc
