Eric Mulligan is DJ Reverie, an Ottawa music promoter and former domain master of scene hub OttawaMetal.com. He launches La danse noire Saturday at Swizzle's, spinning a mix of synthpop, dark electro, industrial and goth. Think NIN, Depeche Mode, The Cure, Nitzer Ebb and Front 242. La danse noire takes place on the last Saturday of the month.

Bio
My name is Eric Mulligan and I am an Alternative Electronic DJ by the name of DJ Reverie. I am a self-described music fanatic where I live and breathe for music. Some of my favourite bands include Solitary Experiments, Lost Area, Seabound, [:SITD:], Mind.in.a.Box, Angelzoom, Clan of Xymox, Eurocide, Neuroticfish, Rotersand, etc.
I became involved in the local Ottawa scene in '02 when I promoted concerts until '04 where I had booked concerts with bands such as Sybreed, Lacuna Coil, State of Shock, Insurgent to name a few. I was also the webmaster of OttawaMetal.com from '03 until '07.
I first started DJing in February '09 when I was in Toronto first as a Metal DJ doing a monthly event first at Rok Boutique and then at Velvet Underground. As time went by, I started adding a bit of Industrial and EBM to my playlists. When I came back in Ottawa, I decided to specialize in EBM and dark Alternative as a DJ.
