When DJ Sean Blu a.k.a “The $ix Million Dollar Man” is in the building, you know that the praise and worship is going to stir your soul into a frenzy of no return. His unrelenting spinning style allows unique harmonies to be released by using heavenly atmospheric samples and innovative beats, interlaced with God’s word. He then ventures into gentle melodies, before spiraling into more spiritual meditative moods. His signature turntable style on the 1s and 2s along with his strength and energy draws the crowd into a web of truth that takes you on a journey of faith that’s hard to resist as he spreads the “Good News.”
DJ Sean Blu uses music as a tool, especially Hip Hop, to convey God’s message of Christ to a generation that is driven by what they see and hear. “Music is one the simplest ways to convey any message, view, or point”, says DJ Sean Blu.
DJ Sean Blu considers himself as an international artist, as his world famous Street Hymns Mix tapes can be heard worldwide proclaiming the Gospel. He has released several Mix tapes including: God In Control (1996), Street Ready (2001), The Heavyweights (2003), Kings Of The East (2004), Knowledge Is Power (2005), Good Times (2006), City Is Mine (2007), and The New Regime (2008) just to name a few. DJ Sean Blu was featured on Sony/BMG Beat Mart Records with recording artist Rob Hodge on his album “Born King” in 2006. He was the only “Gospel” DJ selected in the 2007 Pepsi Scratch Off/ DJ Battle Competition; for which he was named a Semi-Finalist. He was honored in 2008 as a Holy Hip Honoree, and also a recipient of the 2008 Youth Gospel Entertainment Award, Gospel DJ of the Year.

DJ “Sean Blu” Wilson was born in Frankfurt, Germany and developed a love of music at an early age. Sean was just 10 years old when he was inspired and developed a love for music after attending a concert with his parents. Spinning records at friend’s parties and weddings using his bedroom as training ground for honing his mixing skills. Since 1988, DJ Sean Blu has been determined to wow his audience with his turntable skills, and musical versatility. From the success of “Street Hymns Mix tape Series” to the critical acclaim of his production company “Street Hymns Recordings”, Sean proved time and time again that he would always be a force to be reckoned with. And he continues to represent with his mix tapes, collaborations and live shows. His love of music and the art of djing shine through in everything he does. Over the course of his career, DJ Sean Blu has achieved some accomplishments including” DJ of the Year” Awards and multiple “Mix tape Awards and nominations
