The DJ industry is huge, but female DJs are rare to come by. St. Louis has just a few of them and each of them bring something different to their mix. I had the HONOR and the privilege to be invited to KDHX St. Louis for an interview with The God Pops of Hip-Hop himself, The Legendary G Wiz! This was a pivotal moment in my DJ career that I am very proud of! I had just made local history as the first female DJ to DJ a NYE party and the first DJ to play Hip-Hop ALL night at our historic BB's Jazz, Blues, & Soups venue. Soon after, I went to Las Vegas for my first official gig and then came this interview. 2020 started off with a bang, 2021 won't be any different. - 881 KDHX St. Louis

Hailing from STL, MO my name is Kawaii Brown. I've been DJing for 3 years now, though the time seems short, I've gotten a lot of experience. I've DJ'd everything from STL Cardinals Opening Day to local dive bars, nightclubs, comedy & fashion shows, bar mitzvahs, weddings, 420 friendly events, in-store pop-ups, non-profit and corporate events. I've also gone on tour and played in Las Vegas twice. My goal is to become a full time DJ and expand my career to contribute and give back to the culture.
