Bio

As a young boy, Dj StuPac was so amazed by music. He used to sit and watch Yo MTV Raps! everyday and attempt to breakdance like the breakers on TV were doing. Although the breakdancing never worked out to well, Dj StuPac started playing with instruments in hopes to one day make it HUGE! His first instruments were a Muppet Babies Drumset, and a keyboard. Although the Muppet Babies drumset was destroyed due to the transformation into a fort (LOL), Dj StuPac picked it back up in Middle School by joining the band. He played percussion from 6th-10th Grade, was on the Drumline, and played drums in the Jazz Band. Once Dj StuPac was 16 his interest in Dj'n began. He started going to Raves in Dallas, TX. and from that he became obsessed with the art of dj'n. His favorite sounds were Breakbeats and Drum and Bass. Once he was 19, DJ StuPac got his first set of turntables. Playing the drums and dj'n were very similar for Dj StuPac and he picked up on it quick. Dj StuPac strictly leared how to dj by watching, observing, and listening to other dj's. In 2001 Dj StuPac moved to Kansas for school where he began his dj career. He teamed up with 2 other Dj's while he was there and they began Idol Rhythms. Due to his love of electronic music at the time Dj StuPac was spinning funky breaks and drum n bass. He played at just about every bar in Lawrence as well as some Raves in Kansas City. Dj StuPac moved to Denver in 2004 to make music with life long best friend Malo. Since his move to Denver, Dj StuPac has done some producing along side with Malo. There unique style came together to make new remixes of G-Unit's Poppin Them Thangs, as well as Usher's Yeah! Dj StuPac was also involved in the producing of Back to Basics, Malo's first single. Dj StuPac has always had a passion for hip hop, especially the old school classics. His unique remixes/switch up styles has heads bobbin' from coast to coast. He does whatever it takes to be very involved in the music scene, whether it's promoting clubs/parties to dj'n venues, he's on it. Influences include the Xecutioners, Talib Kweli, Dj Qbert, Mixmaster Mike, Z Trip, Dj Scene, Dj Premier, Mos Def, Jay Z, Chamillionaire, Biggie, Bun B, Dead Prez, ?uest Love, Grandmaster Flash, Dj Jazzy Jay, Pitch Black, Tupac, Nas and Family to name a few. 2007 Dj StuPac is currently in the studio working on a few projects for 2007.
