Technician is currently a member of the Kid Capri's crew entitled, 'The Thorough People'.
At three years of age Technician The DJ was already exploring the world of vinyl in his Bronx, NY home. Between his Jamaican grandparents Reggae collection and his parents popular music stash of their era, Techs grasp on music was strong early on. In first grade Tech made a reputation for himself by turning the class story time corner into his personal mix tape listening booth. He was soon put in charge of the music at school events along with his friend Red Handed.
It wasnt long before school parties evolved into house parties and Tech began earning money. His mix tapes became time consuming, pause tapes and by 1996 Tech was touring the world with Camp Lo as their official group DJ. There began his career as a show DJ in which Tech went on to tour with Foxy Brown, Aaliyah, 1 Life to Live, Tribeca and various independent artists.
Today, Tech is the opening DJ for legendary Kid Capri, a DJ that the aspiring young Technician spent years looking up to, recording his sessions off the radio. These days, if hes not touring with Kid, Tech is spinning on his own (in New York, Miami & Germany) and preferably for the spring break crowd because of their energy and appreciation of good music that may not necessarily be in the top 40. With the rock/pop shows, I can test my knowledge of that music, he says.
Technician is a DJ with versatility and a passion for all around performers. He will never trade his vinyl in for a CD turntable because that takes the artistry out of the disk jockey in his eyes. A true music connoisseur, Tech wants to some day move to radio and become a DJ/personality over the air. Until then, the world is at his fingertips.
