Bio
Born in Brooklyn, NY and refined in Vancouver, BC. DJ Velocity has created one of the most influential sounds in Electronica.
In the summer of 2001, DJ Velocity began production of his first feature length song, “Sakura”. The song was scheduled to be used in the production of a computer game, but was canceled when a professional track was offered.
The first genre of music that DJ Velocity dabbled in production of was Hip Hop. He adapted the style of using long and short synth’s and powerful, slow, and hard drum lines. This technique is easily identified in his music today. DJ Velocity depends on using creative synth production to keep his listeners interested, rather then using repetitious speed up’s and slow down’s of various drum lines.
Now living in Vancouver BC, and aspiring to be a fulltime producer, DJ Velocity is well on his way to making his impact on the music industry.
