D-Keys

I am a young male who has ambition and goes by the name of Deqoure also known as D-Keys. I am a musician from Southwest Alief Texas and I am the owner of Batallion Records which is based out of Houston. I've had a deep and burning desire for music since the tender age of 6 yrs old. My father Bishop Sayles was a member of a gospel group by the name of the Joyaires and I just loved their music. That's when I first craved the desire for music. At the age of 8 I started playing the drums here and there. Then at the age of 9 i picked up the bass and the lead guitar. When I finally reached middle school, I joined the school band at James Holub Middle School playing the snare drum. After a while, I figured out what it was i wanted to play. I started to play the keyborad at the age of 11 yrs old. I recieved lesson from H&H Music and some instructional teaching from Demarcus Arvie. Since then GOD has worked in my life through my music and my playing.

In this industry there are lots of inspirations to me including artist such as Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Boyz II Men, Spanky, Fred Hammond, and many more great names.

I have produced a number of tracks in which some are on my page as u can hear. Artist I have worked with includes gospel artists names like Andre Tate of the William Brothers, Shawn Maclemore, Alexis Roberts, The Christianairres , : R&B vocalist such as B Maja and Nova of Da Bassment Clique and Jolivette Jr and also hip hop artist such as Spanky D, T Money and more.

I am currently a keyboard player for The Anointed Voicez. I love GOD and i enjoy life and the goodness it can bring if you treat it right. I am the Manager of A&R for a company that goes by the name of Con-trad Music and Entertainment Group. Check out the tracks on the Anointed Voicez myspace page from the LIVE album release.
