C. Denham aka D-Life has been dealing with music for his entire life being raised in the cultural city of Milwaukee WI, where in the 80's it was hip hop dominated. He grew up influenced by the music and had no choice but to want to be apart of it. Having family members who existed in funk bands and would set up in the yard and have yard jams for the neighborhood to enjoy, he always loved music in general, playing keyboards since a child has led him to play by ear. In 1989 his family moved from Milwaukee to Syracuse, New York. In 1994 he started recording freestyle and writing raps. In 1998 he went to the Art institute of Philadelphia for video productions, then moved back to Milwaukee in 1999 were he signed up for Milwaukee Area Technical College and took music theory and used his student loan check to by a MPC 2000. He then began producing and recording songs with new found friends, The Group M.E.T. (Middle Eastern Terrorist), in Milwaukee. He helped to start a multimedia company, Seven Sign Inc. Seven Sign then opened a studio and would sell 100 dollar songs, and would make your beat, record your song on the spot burn your CD and your good. From there the President and D-Life, the VP, moved to Oakland, Ca to help a friend complete a hip hop kung fu movie called Birth of the Hip Hop Dynasty and started doing more in Oakland and San Francisco. They did shows with hieroglyphics members, Pep Love and Casual, and shows with Cali Agents (Planet Asia and Rasco) which D-Life Organized his self. D-LIFE built personal relationships with them and was known in the Bay area hip hop world. Now that he is in Japan his goal is to make music that will influence youth to want to make music the same way he was influenced and to be successful and make money to open youth centers in the inner-cities of America. Living in Tokyo Japan, D-Life is working very hard to rise to the top of the Tokyo Music scene, within 5 months he has performed Live over 30 times, also is working with the top artist, also many artist who deal with labels such as Toshiba EMI. D-Life is working with companies such as Megamedia/XS-Megazine, also companies such as King Ditigal, and Origital Digital Music LLC.
