Bio
Dave Lombardo was born in April 1988 in Latham, NY. During high school he performed with Platinum Aero, his band of the time, and later split off to form other groups. He has been on numerous recording projects as a session musician. He has also won various Battle of the Bands as well as the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award in 2006 for his performance in high school. Lombardo was part of the Empire State Youth Orchestra on percussion during 2004-2006. Awake is the project band of Dave Lombardo ,complete with the drum instructor from the Albany area, Steve Struss, and a fantastic keyboardist, Bill Thony.
