"D-MAUB READIES TO RELEASE “DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR” ALBUM THIS SEPTEMBER"

D-MAUB enters a new area of creativity with latest national release

July 6, 2011 Cincinnati, OH-Staying true to his continual issuance of new music D-MAUB is set to follow up last summer’s “Inside Out” release with a new album and a new approach. Following superior reviews of his previous projects, “Death Before Dishonor” will mark D-MAUB’s second national release with Dedicated Music Group. On this, the artist’s 5th solo project, listeners will hear an even deeper maturity from D-MAUB on tracks such as “Unconditional Love and “I Believe God”. All the while maintaining the creative concepts and flow fans anticipate as heard on the popular song “Yall Funny that gained airplay in the Spring of 2011. Invariably D-MAUB pulls from his life experiences, both past and present, to draw in listeners with unique storytelling and prevailing objective. Production on this album diverges in multiple currents ranging from the inventive hard-hitting tracks of Chicago’s own GeeDa to the eclectic, aesthetic form of BattleAxe who hails from Detroit. D-MAUB will leave fans, old and new, captivated with this latest delivery. Death Before Dishonor will be available online and in stores nationwide September 13th 2011.

Inside Out will mark the 4th solo project from well known Christian Hip Hop artist

Inside Out is the culmination of more than 3 years worth of solid effort and hard work
from D-MAUB and One Route Entertainment. Fondly referred to as “Mr. So
Professional, D-MAUB and One Route Entertainment are building immense anticipation
for his first national release “Inside Out” after securing a “5 out of 5” star rating on
VesselVibe.com for the underground “Urban Legend” project. The artist combines a
few of his best known past underground hits onto this project with recent hits making the
rounds on the airwaves, including “So Professional”, “Let’s Go” and “Stand Firm”. DMAUB
holds nothing back neither creatively nor on style with “Inside Out” as the album
bounces from west coast style, to “down south” to even an eclectic funk-jazz blend all
while incorporating the top-notch lyricism and untouched delivery style he is known for.
“Inside Out” touches on a few familiar subjects such as having a foundation in Christ and
encouraging others with our words; D-MAUB comes even more powerful and
unrelenting however on “Death Before Dishonor” showing just how serious he takes his
faith. With music heard on the international radio and podcast Wade-O show, D-MAUB
accentuates the substance of his message with an arsenal of innovative ear-pleasing
delivery styles. The songs on this album are sure to be of the high quality and content
that D-MAUB’s fans have come to expect and then some as he takes the listeners through
the journey that has shaped some of his most impacting testimonies. The heart of the
artist is felt on the title track “Inside Out” as he stresses just how the remarkable changes
in his life have come about. D-MAUB ventures out of his customary album mold by
bringing in several guest features that include R-Swift, Canton Jones, Mr. Del and k-
Drama. The album will be available online starting June 1st and in stores June 29th 2010.
On October 5, 2009, One Route Entertainment secured an agreement with Dedicated

"One Route Entertainment--The Journey has Begun"

After years of patience, Donny Harper aka D-M.A.U.B. has ventured into starting his own record label. One Route Entertainment began September 5 2005 with a vision of mainstreaming gospel hip hop music. Donny Harper, CEO, along with long time friends Amber Bronson, who will act as Booking and Administrative Manger, and Keith Harrison, named to the position of Sound Technician and Administrative Assistant, have worked together long and hard to get things started and plan to continue with the same drive and passion to establish One Route Entertainment into the reputable, positive company they know it can become. At this time, D-M.A.U.B. is the only recording artrist but they do plan to add more to the roster in the future. Look for plenty of events to come out of this came in late 2005 and 2006. - One Route Entertainment

""Don't Talk Me To Death" distributed worldwide through Holy Hip Hop and EMI CMG"

June 2006, Donny "D-MAUB" Harper was one of 12 holy hip hop artists from around the United States to appear on the 4th volume of the Holy Hip Hop:Takin' The Gospel To The Streets compilation. The album's artists were selected solely on the publics votes suing an internet process in the spring of 2006.

"Urban Legend"

We are very happy to announce that D-MAUB's highly anticipated album, "Urban Legend" is complete. This is indeed the best project to be released from One Route Entertainment thus far! It is amazing that D-MAUB was not only able to push out 2 solo albums in the same year, but the growth that he displays in just a matter of months are undeniably noticeable from "The Introduction", to the last song. He touches on topics that will encourage you to be a pro in what you do for the kingdom in the hit single, "So Professional", he stresses the importance of finding your identity in the club banger, "Stand Out", as well as promoting having fun while lifting up the name of Jesus in the energy-filled party starter, "Let's Go". He has collaborated with Tony Stone to remind people how "F.R.E.S.H." he is, while acknowledging and expressing lyrically how he feels about the madness that we deal with in the world on a day to day basis in, "People Crazy". "I want this project to sound different from any other project I have done. I strive to keep my listeners guessing with my delivery and production. I love to rap over all types of music because it matures me from being just a rapper to an artist", says D-MAUB. He goes on to say that his biggest fear is to bore his audience, so he continues to look for opportunities to switch up his delivery to keep his fans interested in the message, as he has done to perfection on this instant classic project.

"Urban Legend" will definitely catapult and broaden his ministry, putting him before great men only to be used to glorify God. We are excited to know that on the 17th day of November, the world will be challenged to listen, learn, and live through a real.....Urban Legend.

ONE ROUTE ENTERTAINMENT SECURES NATIONAL DISTRIBUTION WITH RISING INDEPENDENT LABEL DEDICATED MUSIC GROUP
Christian Rapper D-MAUB aligns with holy hip hop innovator
Mr. Del and Universal Music Christian Group

Among rising musical genres, the movement of Christian rap is certainly one of those showing unremitting promise, Christian rap, also referred to as holy hip hop, boasts large numbers of artists, promoters, managers and other industry professionals who consider it their mission to not only deliver the Good News of Christ and the salvation He offers through music, but to be living examples of His love as well. While some of these artists have the benefit of major music deals and mainstream radio success, many operate through independent labels, without the assistance of major distribution, management or marketing deals. Among those artists is Donny “D-MAUB” Harper of Cincinnati Ohio.

D-MAUB entered the pursuit of advancing the message of Christ with his music in 2001. He joined forces with an independent label early on in his hometown; however, he departed in 2005 to embark on his own. Together with Amber Bronson, D-MAUB founded One Route Entertainment. One Route Entertainment has experienced many accomplishments in the years through various bookings, showcase opportunities and building relationships with other artists and industry professionals. D-MAUB and One Route Entertainment has released six CD projects since 2005 and the successful Crazy Tones ringtone album in the summer of 2009.

On October 5, 2009, One Route Entertainment secured an agreement with Dedicated Music Group (DMG) for national distribution of future music releases from D-MAUB. Memphis, TN based DMG is distributed by Universal Music Christian Group.
“D-MAUB is a very talented and anointed artist! I am very pleased to add him to the DMG family and look forward to his ministry impacting on a broader level,” states DMG President Del “Mr. Del” Lawrence. Along with Mr. Del, former member of the hardcore rap group Three 6 Mafia, the DMG staff is comprised of Angela Green (Operations Manager), who is a noted Entertainment Lawyer and music publishing consultant; and Benita Bellamy of The Bellamy Group (Marketing and Promotions Director), an industry marketer who brings experience from EMI CMG, Sanctuary Records and Light Records.

“I am very happy with this exciting new blessing. I will be able to reach far more people with this type of deal and I am excited for all of One Route Entertainment in all of this,” says D-MAUB. Look for INSIDE OUT, the first national release from D-MAUB, to hit the street in early summer 2010. DJ’s, Record Pools and radio stations will expect to hear and receive D-MAUB’s first single before the end of 2009.

"D-MAUB interviewed for Dasouth.com"

D-Maub: Hot and On Fire-r-r for God|Written by Lamar Gibbs Tuesday, 25 August 2009

When you uphold the truth, you must do it in courage. It must be a lifestyle. Are you a Young Cut-t? Well, I got to talk to one who is courageously upholding truth, a humble man by the name of D-Maub. Hip Hop in Cincinnati has never been the same, yet you won’t hear this come out of his own mouth! If you want to know how to lead, you must know how to serve and if you need an example, D-Maub would be one. Be blessed as you check out what he had to say!

Lamar Gibbs: What’s up Young Cut-t, Dasouth thanks you for taking the time for this interview!

D-Maub: Yo! I am honored that you all would even ask me to do this interview. I am thankful. My pleasure.

LG: Amen! So, you have been real busy with the amount of stuff you have been doing lately! From the "Crazy Tones,” to many features, man how do you keep on going like this?! (Laughs).

DM: (Laughs). It is only by the grace of God man. When people hit me up for a feature, I don't take it lightly! That says a lot about how they feel about my ministry, my gift and my walk with God. They trust that all of those things are in line. So, it means a lot to me when people consider me to be apart of their project.

LG: Yea man, I have always seen you as the guy that is grateful for those kinds of things. It's a blessing to see someone have such a thankful spirit as you do. The greatest among us serve, and you definitely serve for people as far as I can see

DM: Thank you very much. My mom always told me to be thankful when people do things for you, because they don't owe you anything.

LG: Yea man, gotta love mama (Laughs).

DM: Amen!

LG: So, with the amount of features that you do and plus your own music, what is it that you personally try to do to prevent yourself from sounding the same?

DM: I always try to think of ways to deliver the gospel in a way where my listeners won't get bored. I try to think as if I am one of the listeners when I write. So with that being in mind, I try to be creative, but at the same time I make sure I do me. Stay original.

LG: Yea man that is actually a great way of doing it. There are so much ways that artists have to look at penning lyrics. Like, will it go over well live as it did in the studio, will you stretch yourself artistically and will people still be able to be attentive if you do, and I'm not even an artist and I'm saying this! (Laughs).

DM: (Laughs). Yeah, but your right. I mean, we have to write as if an unbeliever purchased your CD, got in their car, took their secular CD out and put yours in to give it a try. Now what’s gonna make them leave your CD in the CD case and leave the secular CD on the CD case? I think like that a lot. That’s just ONE of the things that drives me to write the way I do.

D-Maub Concert in South Carolina 08/22/09
(Recorded by Lunie 3:80)

LG: Yea man, the fruit shows. Speaking of secular CD, a lot of times whenever people hear you they say you sound like Ludacris. Many Christian rappers are compared to secular rappers, such as Da' Truth and Eric Cross being compared to Jay-Z. What are your thoughts on you and other artists being compared to secular MC's? Is it a hindrance? Is it unnecessary? What are your thoughts?

DM: I don't think it’s a bad thing for ME because every time I have heard people say that, it's always in a good way. They don't feel like I’m trying to be him. I don’t think my voice sounds like his, but I think people say that because our creativity is similar. Like, the things I do in my delivery they can hear him doing and vice versa. It's a compliment to me because to be honest, he's not a wack rapper, he is very talented, it's just most of his messages are not encouraging people to seek the Lord.

LG: Yea man, Ludacris is a talented rapper and whenever I have heard the comparison in reviews it’s always been in a good way like you said. I guess it would just depend on the person as well

DM: True.

LG: So, as an artist, obviously there has been growth, but tell me what and/or where do you feel you have grown as an artist, and more importantly, a believer?

DM: As an artist, I feel like I have grown the most in my creativity. The Bible says that we must be wise to win the lost. So I am constantly thinking of ways to attract the lost to hear the message. As a believer, I have grown a lot in my patience! My temper can be very short at times, but God told us to be slow to anger, so that is something that I am always working on because my actions speak a bit louder than my words. God said they will know you’re my disciples by the love you SHOW, not the love you speak about.

{loadposition contentad}

LG: Yea man, its very important, and I'm actually glad you mentioned patience because even when I look on Dasouth, God puts that on my heart that folks would be patient with the people who may not know how to relate their passion for God in the right way without prejudging others, or either people may get misrepresented, mischaracterized, and mistaken for certain things, and being patient and in prayer helps with that so much

DM: If we pray for people as much as we talk bad about them, we would be so encouraged to do more for the kingdom. People seem to forget that our reason for being here is to glorify God. I have learned to watch my words because death and life is in the power of the tongue. As a matter of fact, I love you my brother, keep being used by the Lord and I pray that he continues to bless you in everything you do!(smiles)

LG: Amen D-Maub, I appreciate that!

DM: We all need that.

LG: Amen. So let me ask you, what attribute of God really has impacted you as you grow to love Him?

DM: LOVE!

DM: Man, as soon as we understand what love really is, we will understand this mission that we are on to do His will. 1 Corinthians 13 tells us what love is. If we understand how to apply that to our lives, we will do things with a good attitude. We won't argue or complain about our situations. We won't mistreat anyone. We will do our best to do what's right by God. So I focus a lot on learning what love is and how to apply it to my life, because if I know love, I know God.

D-Maub interview with Calisha of KingdomSwag.com

LG: Amen, that’s real good D-Maub. I can actually think of one song that expresses that the love of God has impacted you the most, and that song is "My Way"

DM: Oh yeah! Believe it or not, but sometimes when I do that song, I break down in tears, just thinking about if we all put on the characteristics of God. I know that I have my things that need work like the rest of us, but I pray that as a body we will strive to do better so unbelievers will see our actions toward each other and be attracted to God. We have to continue to lift Him up not only in words, but in action.

LG: Amen man, lets continue to pray, as it is powerful, and let us one by one live more like Christ and God will do His thing

DM: Amen!

LG: Now, I want to ask you about your label One Route Entertainment. What is it like running a label, and what has that taught you about leadership?

DM: It's a big responsibility. It's a lot of work. You must be dedicated and not just doing this music thing because you like to do it, you must LOVE it! LOL! To me it's not work because I do love it. I am passionate about it. I want to learn how to market, how, when and where to promote, what to do and what not to do...I love every part of it. I must say that I don't run the company on my own. I have a lot of help from my manager. She (Amber) keeps me on my toes. I appreciate my sister.(smiles)

DM: About leadership it has taught me to be patient. It has also taught me how to be humble, submissive. As the president, sometimes I can feel like what I say goes, but you have to be open and willing to do things differently. Just because I’m the boss doesn't mean that I am right about everything.

LG: Right, that's a very important point. it also ties in with being able to be a servant as well, because the greatest leaders know how to serve. But yea, one of the best traits of a leader is humility

DM: Yes sir. I’m learning each day how to be a better servant.

LG: Nice! So is there anything new coming up with One Route Entertainment? Is there any artist that you would want to sign to the label?

DM: Yeah there are a few that I would like to bring aboard, but I just want to make sure that I am doing things in order before I think about that. I don't need to have artists on my label for the sake of having a crew, but I want to make sure that they can benefit from One Route Entertainment. As far as projects, I have a few things in my hat that I will pull out soon. Stay posted!

LG: Oh yes, can't wait for it! So D-Maub, I actually found out that you were apart of a couple of video games for PS2 which was obviously awhile back (Laughs)., what part of the games were you involved in?

DM: I am actually rapping on them! To this day I still can't believe I was blessed with an opportunity to rap on four Playstation/XBOX games. What a dream come true! The games were NBA JAM, ATV 3, MLB 2005, and Grand Turismo 4. God allowed me to be apart of that major promotion without a record deal or any major engine behind me. That's why I stay encouraged because God has showed me that if I/we trust and believe in Him, He can bless me/us with anything.

Humble T.I.P. "S.P.F." featuring k-Drama and D-Maub

LG: Wow bro! Man that is amazing to hear! I'm studying for video game design in college, so I'm into the games a lot, so it was good to see you had a chance to be apart of video games. What type of video games would you want to be involved in the future? What Christian games do you think should be made?

DM: I would love to do a Madden game! That would be CRAZY!! If I could do just one of those, and a 2K basketball game, I’m good! Christian games....hmm...that's tough. I can't think of anything as far as action, but we could use some fun, educational games. As long as they are not boring!(Laughs).

LG: Yea man, the Christian games that I’ve seen has been boring sorry to say LOL. I'm not sure if I am going to the Christian market, but I do pray that God will lead me to make some great games, and I would do Christian games, they would have to be hot though (Laughs).

DM: Yeah. When you do your games, im just a phone call away!! hint hint (smiles)

LG: (Laughs). Amen!! So, just to ask one more question before we begin to wrap this up, the song on your album "Urban Legend,” called "In the Beginning I Knew Everything About The End" I loved. But for some of those who still may not understand what it fully means, describe for them what you meant in that song?

DM: Sure! The song is expressing that God is the "BEGINNING,” He's my "EVERYTHING" and He is the "END.” So in the 1st verse you have to replace the word "Beginning" with "God"; and you must do the same in the 2nd verse with the word "Everything,” and again in the 3rd verse with the word "End.” Every time I say one of those three words, just mentally replace it with "God.” It's like a two-fold message. Even in the hook, as well as the title of the song. The title is saying that "In the BEGINNING (In God) I knew EVERYTHING (I knew God) about the END (I knew it was all about God).” I love that song. That's my favorite one for now.

LG: Yea man, I love how you put such a conceptual song in there. Do you think there is a balance needed between conceptual songs that make people have to listen, and having songs that lay it out more plainly?

DM: Yes. I think we all need to be challenged to think more. Songs like that make you appreciate the gift of song writing. I love to be challenged, especially in music.

LG: Yes, same here. Hip Hop is influential for that reason. The way things are put together

DM: That's the beauty of it.

LG: Amen. D-Maub, it was a pleasure for me to interview and Dasouth appreciates what you bring to music, which helps believers grow and helps unbelievers know. Is there anything you want to say that’s on your heart to the people that will read this?

DM: I want to say THANK YOU ALL for your love and support. Your encouraging words are what keep me going. Shout out to DaSouth for ALL the love and support. To my label One Route, I love yall. And to my beautiful wife Ciara and 4 kids, Jasmin, Caelyn, Devin and Micah, I love you.

LG: Amen! So that about wraps it up. Thanks again Young Cut-t! Keep Courageously Upholding The Truth!

DM: Fo sho!

Like most thrown onto to the platform of ministering the word of God, this young man has seen his share of trials and tribulations. When his childhood friend, Robert "Lazarus" Smith pulled him aside and introduced him to Christ, Donny took the role full on. Tragically losing his mother in 1997, D-M.A.U.B. finally saw that there was more to life than what he had been doing. He accepted the invitation and started turning a skill he has always possessed to glorify God and spread his awesome testimony of coming through tough struggles. He wants people to know that we can have fun and draw men to Christ through his lyrics and beats. But most of all he desires to draw all to Christ. He's also known as the #1 "YOUNG CUT-T , which stands for Courageously Upholding The Truth. When D-M.A.U.B. talks, people listen, they relate, they think and things change!!
