Bio
I am a 29 year old Australian song writer currently living in Melbourne. I grew up in Adelaide, Queensland and Indonesia. When I was 17 I hitch-hiked around Europe convinced that I was being followed by B.B. King, he seemed to be playing every town I went. In Norway I broke a friend's guitar in an accident involving some stairs down to the highway, B.B. King's limousine, and a mad hope of thumbing a lift with him...
My influences are: Izzy Stradlin (the mysterious soul brother behind Guns'n'Roses), Jimmy Hendrix, Robert Johnson, Big Bill Broonzy, Woody Guthrie & Tom Waits (whom I regard as the uncrowned king of Ireland) and Wagner (for the Wagnerian chromaticism)
