Dmitry Chaplin was born in a little village in the central part of Russia. He's a notable figure on the rock metal scene now.
He saw a guitar and fell in love with it irreversibly at the age of seven. At the age of thirty, Dmitry has become one of the forerunners of the new breed of musicians that contribute to the evolution of modern sound. Complex and expressive music is his trademark and the music that he writes is addictive.
The bands and projects in which Dmitry participated either as a member or as a session musician are a focus of the discussion in the rock metal music community.
Recipient of several music awards and winner of many themed competitions, Dmitry has shown himself as a skilled musician who never fails to deliver high-quality performances. The mastery of his instrument and unique, inimitable performance has influenced many guitarists around the world and has introduced a new combined two-handed tapping technique.
